Annual Catholic Relief Services Fair Trade Sale!

Members of our parish will host the annual CRS Fair Trade Crafts sale in the church hall on the weekend of November 30/December 1 after each Mass. The sale of these beautiful crafts helps sustain the artisans, many of whom are refugees from developing countries.  This is a great opportunity to purchase some thoughtful and original Christmas gifts for family and friends. Mark this date on your calendar! Also consider signing a CRS letter asking our legislators to support the 2019 Global Fragility Act (implements a US strategy to prevent violent conflict by coordinating activities in priority countries and regions). Information about doing more personally to care for the environment will be available as well. As Pope Francis says in Evangelii Gaudium#187, “ Each individual Christian and every community is called to be an instrument of God for the liberation and promotion of the poor, and for enabling them to be fully a part of society.” Let’s do our part!
