Annual Parish Picnic

The annual parish picnic will be held on Sunday, July 8, from 12:30pm until 6:30 pm. In addition to the food, fun and dancing, this picnic is an important fundraiser for the parish, and we give 25% of the profits to the Merton Center! Please note the following:

Volunteers are neededMany volunteers are needed to help make this year’s picnic a success. You can sign up online via the parish website or you can sign up in person after Mass this weekend. If you have any questions, please contact Marcy Vidoli at vidoli@sbcglobal.net or at 203-259-6561.

Tent Night – Save the date and lend a hand on Tuesday evening, July 3, at 7 pm, when we set up the tents and tables and chairs in the parking lot of the church.

Jewelry – Jewelry alert!  The parish is collecting old/new/broken jewelry for the annual picnic, this year on Sunday, July 8. Please call Mary Ann Sulik (203-747-0693) for a pickup, or drop off your jewelry on the back porch of the rectory before Sunday, June 24th. Please enclose your name and phone number with your donations so anything valuable can be returned to you. All donations are greatly appreciated!

White Elephant items – It is time to collect those treasures to sell at the White Elephant booth at our annual picnic. Just about anything can be accepted EXCEPT electrical items, cribs, car seats, large furniture, clothing or sports/exercise equipment. Items may be dropped in front of the middle garage in the parking lot. Thank you for your donations!

Admission/Door Prize tickets – to the picnic have been mailed. Tickets are $3.00 each and include eligibility for several door prizes. If you would like more tickets (or did not receive any) please call the parish office.

Lobster dinner – Advanced sale Lobster dinner tickets are being sold after the Masses this weekend- ($15. single, $25. twin). Purchasing your tickets ahead of time guarantees your dinner in the event of a sell-out.
