Fairfield University – The 2018 Bellarmine Lecture, “Flannery O’Connor: Acts of Redemption,” will be presented by Rev. Mark Bosco, S.J., on Wednesday, February 7, at 7:30pm in the Dolan School of Business DiningRoom. Fr. Bosco is Vice-President of Mission and Ministry at Georgetown University.
The 2018 Catholicism and the Arts Lecture, “Sociable Solitude in the Internet Age,” will be presented by Amy Hungerford, Professor of American Studies and Dean of the Humanities Division at Yale University, on Wednesday, February 28, at 7:30 pm in the Dolan School of Business Dining Room. The public is invited to both these lectures; there is no charge!
Sacred Heart University – On Wednesday, January 31, at 7 pm in the University Commons, Roger Haight, S.J., will present “Evolution and Creation Theology.” Fr. Haight is an American Jesuit Theologian and Scholar in Residence at Union Theological Seminary in New York.
Massiomo Faggioli, Church Historian and Professor of Theology and Religious Studies at Villanova University, will present “Pope Francis and the USA: Theology, Politics and Diplomacy,” on Wednesday, February 7, at 7 pm. The lecture will take place at the University Commons.
“The Liberation Spirituality of Oscar Romero” will be presented by Michael Lee, Associate Professor of Theology at Fordham, on Wednesday, February 28, at 7 pm, in the University Commons.
