How can we help our brothers and sisters in this health crisis?

We are all fighting the outbreak of coronavirus in our area, but some people are having an even more difficult time, constrained by a lack of resources or support. Below are suggestions of places that can use our help:

Also, there is a drive through food drive for Operation Hope on Sunday, from 10 am through noon, at First Church Congregational, 148 Beach Road, Fairfield. Stop and Shop cards and Subway cards are especially needed.


Bridgeport Rescue Mission

There will be a food drive for the benefit of the Bridgeport Rescue Mission on Easter Sunday from 10 am through noon, to be held in the rear parking lot of St. Thomas Aquinas Church, 1719 Post Road, Fairfield.


Yale New Haven Health

Yale New Haven Health is in desperate need of the following Protective Equipment items:

Disposable Head covers/caps/ gowns and gloves/face masks

N95 Respirator face masks; powered air purifying respirators (PAPRS); Face shields/goggles

Coveralls/scrubs/shoe covers/

Disinfection wipes and liquids/ hand cleaners

Kelly Sohigian is collecting these items. Kelly can be reached at 203-258-5709; items can be left at Kelly’s home, at 10 Patrick Drive, or Kelly will pick up from your home.


Sr. Eileen's Street Ministry

Sr. Eileen’s Street Ministry is in need of cards for Dunkin’ Donuts and Stop and Shop. Cards can dropped through the mail slot in the front door of the rectory.
